PLEASE NOTE: GYPSY MUST BE THE ONLY PET IN HER FOREVER HOME. Linda has spent time with Gypsy and observes:Gypsy: She is another one of those dogs you fall hard for!!!! She is a doll, very sweet and gentle too. Gypsy sits, comes and heels very nicely after she has had some exercise to stretch her legs. A very good looking gal with her black and tan coat, soft brown eyes and large erect ears. Gypsy can get excited when she sees another dog, so could use some obedience training to settle down when she sees one. She is a good size with her long legs but could put on some weight she is on the thin side. I find her very affectionate and she loves to give kisses too!! Vanessa loves Gypsy too and wrote about her. Let me tell you, when I first saw this girl’s picture up on the Niagara Falls Humane Society Website, I broke down and cried a little! I LOVE German Shepherds as many people do, and have loved them ever since I was 7! What’s not to love about them?? German Shepherds are ranked at the top for being one of the most popular dogs in Canada and the United States and are very well known all over the globe! Everyone on in the world knows what a German Shepherd is! They are starred in numerous movies!! This breed was originally used as a herding and livestock guardian but in today’s day in age they are outstanding police and military dogs! German shepherds are stunning dogs who are loyal, protective, highly intelligent, family orientated, highly athletic, obedient, alert, curious , goofy, confident, courageous and make excellent watchdogs! I believe that they are absolutely flawless dogs! I’ll never forget the day I met Gypsy and took her out! I had so so much fun with her!! Gypsy is a 4 1⁄2 year of female German Shepherd! She is so affectionate and loves to come into my arms for some kisses on her forehead and some scratches! What can I say, she’s a typical German shepherd! If it wasn’t for my mom’s allergies I would without a doubt take her home without thinking twice! Gypsy is good with other large dogs but isn’t good with small dogs! She’s excellent with kids as she is so well behaved and has a perfect tempter! She is such a good overall dog! Gypsy loves to play with toys and is an energetic girl, like a typical German Shepherd! She does extremely well on leash and would love to be placed in an active family and or have an active owner(s). Gypsy loves to play fetch and is extremely versatile when it comes to activities! There’s no doubt that she would make an awesome hiking buddy and she loves to be outdoor whether that’s swimming, jogging, walking, biking, rollerblading, the list goes on and on! You can literally do anything with this dog! I know that a dog like her will find a home extremely quick in a matter of time! She is really popular here around the shelter and she gets taken out by many different people that come in throughout the day! No matter how many times she’s been taken out I need to spend some time with this sweetheart whenever I’m at the shelter! Like every human being, I get stressed out, anxious and overwhelmed with life and there isn’t anything that helps me out more than walking the dogs at the Niagara Falls Humane Society and Gypsy sure has been such a stress reliever and has stole my heart! Gypsy is absolutely stoic, words can simply not explain. I honestly cannot even wait until I get a beauty like her! I’m impatiently waiting for that day to come! Gypsy is eagerly waiting on her forever home! Come on down and meet her before she’s mine! Gypsy weighs 65 lb. Knows her basic commands. Very social girl who is good with kids.Needs a fully fenced in yard. Not good with small dogs.
