Adoption Status: Adopted Description:
Here is what Amy has to say about Kato.Kato is an all around well rounded dog. He's the biggest suck and it was a privilege to spend my night with him. Although confused at first with all the was taking place he had warmed up to me in no time. He loves having his belly rubbed and if you pet him on the top of his left leg he can't help but wag his tail and kick his leg with excitement! When it came time for the lights to go out Kato had cozied up right next to me, head on the pillow and body tucked under the blanket as close to me as possible. How can anyone not love a dog that sleeps like people?! I spent hours petting him and showing him the love he deserves. Kato let me know when he was hungry, when he had to go outside and even where he wanted to be pet. He's a brilliant animal and it broke my heart having to leave him in the morning. I would have brought him home in a heart beat if I was allowed to. I enjoyed every second with Kato and I'm sure the feeling was mutual. It's so heart breaking to see such well behaved dogs abandoned and I feel this fundraiser is ideal when it comes to raising awareness for these fur babies. Being able to have access to most rooms in the humane society had given me insight on how hard all of the volunteers and team members work to ensure these dogs are taken care of.

Sex:
Male Neutered
DOB:
1 Year
Adoption Status: Adopted Description:
This is what Ray has to share about Will: 'What a cat! Even if you tried to be lonely you wouldn't be able to with Will around! He is a very handsome guy with an orange and white, very fluffy coat and tail. Will is a very social and vocal cat; he has a lot to say, and makes sure everyone can hear him. Where ever he was before, Will was the centre of attention. He'll come to anyone for a pet and a (gentle) belly scratch. Once he's had enough attention he will catch your fingers with just his paws, no claws. When Kat, the Assistant Manager, comes in in the morning, she has said she hears Will asking where she's been. Will gets along well with other cats, loves people, and chases jingly balls, feather toys, and plays in the tunnel. This cat won't last long!'

Queenie

Type:
cat
Breed:
Domestic Short Hair
Colour:
Black and White
Sex:
Female Spayed
DOB:
1 Year
Adoption Status: Adopted Description:
This is what Ray has to share about Queenie: 'Queenie is a wonderful, very gentle, and very affectionate little cat who really wants to be loved. Currently she is a little shy, and sits on a hutch in the back. When we go to see her she meows a greeting and rubs her head and back against you when you pet her. If you stop, she reaches out a paw and taps your hand for more. She will stand up and stretch her front legs up on your chest and likes her back scratched while she does this. She gets along well with the other cats, as they do go back to see her. She is definitely not scared, just a little nervous when there are a lot of people around, so she just needs a bit of time. Queenie will be a wonderful companion and will enjoy sitting beside you or on your lap and gently purr.
